Thunt Torino Set loose

As the title says, I have let one of these beauties loose. After you have collected a few and reached a certain quota etcetc, normally you will loose one into the open, its only natural. Well anyway its more impressive up close without its plastic prison. Simply an awesome thunt and even more, an awesome car with awesome tampos. As I rolled the car on the table, all I can say is that it rolls so smothly and so sweet, perfect tyre alignment....heheh... Kudos to mattel when they decided to produce such an interestingly high quality looking car. I am looking forward for the rest of the thunts that will be coming out this year....anyway let the pics do the talking.

Surfing Bus 09

One of the casting that caught my eye last year were these surfing school buses. Awesome looking and came in 2 different colors, namely the brown which you can see in the foreground in some of the shots, and the silver one which I personally prefer. Anyway let the pics do the talking.

Dodge Charger SRT8 drift car

This car has landed in Malaysian stores and is probably popular with collectors. So far you can only find one per box in the talladega wave. Anyway this car has value in terms of it being a model for the real 1:1 car where good old american muscle has been transformed into a drift car, someting to rival their Jap counterparts. Anyway found something on youtube and the car does look awesome whether its hotwheels 1:64 or Sam Hubinette driving the 1:1 dodge charger Mopar car. Let the pics o the talking.

7-11 Talladega Wave

Have you checked your nearby 7-11 lately? I guess some of you may have. But if you have not, then try and have a look. I believe the stock for this small restock to a limited number of 7-11 arrived at the same time but due to the stores personal reasons, they have chosen to display them at different times. So if you don't see them on the racks, do not assume they have no stock because they just may have and some even may surprise you of its existence still. So ask them to show the rest of their stock.

Torrino talladega passable variation?

One of the torrinos I found has a slightly misaligned tampo printed on the car. Anyway when looked and compared to a properly printed one, it looks like a variation espcially the goodyear logo.....anyway just a minor update here...:)

2010 Thunt Ford Torrino Talladega

Everybody is talking about it and I must say I was one of them and from my sources, this wave is showing up in most places soon. So keep an eye out as this will be a hot item all over the world since Malaysia is the first country where this thunt has hit. Its a hit because its just looks so freaking awesome. Bad to the Bone

This is the boneshaker 2009 treasure hunt series. This may be the boneshaker that popularise this particular casting to people previously not into this casting. It certainly did to me and now I kinda wonder how smart is Mattel marketing strategist? Anyway I let loose one to see it up close and its a beautiful casting. Let the pics do the talking.

2010 Riley & Scott MK III

One car to look out for in the new talladega wave is the Riley & Scott MK III aka the one that people sometimes mistake to be the 333sp ferrari. Anyway this car in real life was built to rival the 333sp. The hotwheels version is simply superb this year. Decorated with nice tampos and stickers, its a car not to be missed this year.

Hyperliner Pop off series
