$super Neet Streeter 7-11 haul 28/07/09

During my hunting down at our local 7-11, I manage to find the super Neet Streeter 09. Since I first saw it I said to myself I must have it because its a green thunt, kinda reminds of the plymouth roadrunnner top color, spectraflame green. Anyway its full metal body is not very heavy, unlike the plymouth road runner thunt of 08, but seeing the tampos and the rubber tyres is more than makes up for it. Its a really really nice car. Anyway I will let the pictures do the talking.

7-11 promo haul

7-11 Promo is basically the bad bagger and the Neet streeter wave. The qombee wave was also spotted. tsk tsk tsk, mattel oh mattel. This is the neet streeter wave. But its just a teaser. The greenies will come later.

I went to about 40 7-11 and although I was late, I managed to score here and there. So stay tuned for the report in the next blog entry.

Tripple threat UPDATE: POS on 22 July 2009

First off, I know I have to break my word and post about more pink cars. Sorry:(

Two POS for the day. The day before saw them restocking and just yesterday saw them restocking again. Both times they were restocking the chevy wave. However there were aslo bad bagger wave as well but the funny thing is there were no badbagger thunt in sight. Perhaps this is what it meant when they said some boxes may not come with thunt inside. Anyway this is my third super chevy and I am just so so happy and feel so so lucky.

Here is me after finding the super while a "school boy in the background was looking through the other box", just so my box had the super. I think he found the regular chevy. There were only 4 boxes overall.

Double Trouble

Ok ok, this is my absolute last post with pink cars......I think I am getting sick myself. haha. Found another one of these while they were restocking and there were 4 boxes alltogether. All chevy wave. My heart skipped a beat. Anyway here are the pics.

Racing for "Pinkslips"

As one of the famous quote from the story of sleeping beauty goes "Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all". Today I am going to put side y side two cars with one similarity, they are both pink, namely the buick riverra 08 and the 55 chevy 09. In fact for 3 years consecutively now, Hot wheels has produced pink treasure hunts since 07. The 07 is the cadillac v16. Anyway who is the pretiest of them all? Well you be the judge.

UNCAGED : Chevy 55 Belaire Treasure Hunt 2009

The color on this thunt is a pretty pink...haha. Upon removing it from its cage, for the first time, I noticed that it has a very shiny alomost like a varnish coating around the whole car and also the base of the car. One word to describe it is its just shiny. Its shiny all around. Very nice. Well I will let the picture do the talking.

2008 Treasure Hunt Complete

This is a long time coming but I actually completed the 2008 treasure hunt a while ago. So here I present them now.








The hotwheels/matchbox wave in Malaysia has stagnated. I am getting chevy 55 09, qombee and camaro wave 08 for hotwheels whilst for matchbox, red civic ctr, showing up over and over again. Well thats my report concerning the waves in Malaysia.

One step closer: Hammer sled

One step closer to completing my 07 thunt regular. Got this from a fellow forummer, kukubeh. Thanks for the trade. Let the pictures do the talking.

POS for the day

Its teh camaro wave hitting most C4 hypermarkets this time round. And one very common finding is the regular camaro on a super camaro card. This is an error that a lot of hunters have found, which makes the regular on the regular card the uncommon one. Anyway manage to get 3 camaros so far in this camaro wave. Some I have heard found 6 or 7 and even supers to boot. But I found two supers in the last camaro wave.

And you know I could not believe my eyes when I was looking at ebay, since the dry spell for new hotwheels wave is still hitting us, I could not believe my eyes that the super camaros are selling for more than RM100 ringgit each. That is so expensive. Anyway through trades I have managed to complete my regular 08 thunt. yay, although one of them is a US card it will have to do. Will post the pic later.

Treasure Hunt trades.

Traded these for 2 vw fastbacks and have a head start in collecting 07 thunts. I am only missing the very rare in Malaysia hammer sled and the corvette C6R. I already have the skyline from an earlier trade. Oh well here are the pics.

Qombee Eclipse

Just when you thought the sun has come out, I found myself starring at the eclipse of the Qombees, all 16 of them, arranged by color, which is green, neatly on the top rack. If this was a few months back, I would probably say WOW!! and thank the god of hotwheels but its not like that at all. Well what do you do? well my first instinct was to check each for a Super, nope no super, then I checked each one for error, nope no errors. They are all identical. Last thing to do is to take apic and POS it here.

On another note, jusco is selling hotwheels basic cars for RM4.90 each and have restocked either qombee or chevy 55. I found a chevy 55 today.
