The toyota AE86, or more famously known as the taufu car(beancurd), from the anime Initial D. This is the only one I have. There are variations to this car but this I found locally in one of the Giant store last year....Just a walk down memory lane whilst waiting for the new wave to arrive here in Malaysia stores. This may soon be in my sales thread to be sold.
I have added one more batmobile to my collection which makes it 3 so far :p.... Somebody said that you can only start with what you have, the past batmobiles will come or may not come to me one day but its ok....I still consider myself a Batmobile collector...hehe
This one I bought from a fellow forummer. It has nice tampos of a mustang(horse) on the sides and the hood. The hood tampo also shows its the 35th anniversary edition. By the way its a matchbox and the year this came out was 2000. I like it.
Qombees seem to be the reigning champions for the first half of the year in hotwheels collecting, I myself have encountered so many that I lost count. What makes the qombee so special though is the occasional super that you stumble across but even those are slowly losing its special status. But being one who never turns down a green card, what more a super, I cannot complain. This distribution strategy by mattel affects everybody. Anyway happy hunting.
Let me just say that, I am a first time blogger but since everyone is making their own blog or creating their own hobby site., and for passion for hotwheels/matchbox and tomica cars, I have decided to blog. This blog serves to inform and get people who read it a passion for hunting. The hunt is an addictive thing. If you go on a hunting spreee, its not just going to be one outlet or two but sometimes 5 to 10, or maybe more, in one go when a new wave of cars strike your area. I am going to be posting up pictures as I hunt so come share my experience as I blog about cars and hopefully my son too will get into it one day. He is 9 months old....haha
